Outside of Birmingham around Childersburg would be good.
I don't like Birmingham traffic! 
Do you have a specific location in mind? A buffet style restaurant goes over well. That way everyone can find something they like.
I did a get together at Western Sizzler and the manager gave us a group rate. I put a sign in the window, a week before to announce it. So other Singles in town could join us. It turned out good. We had a great time!

Tammy when you decide on a Location, Date and Time make an EVENT Thread.
If there is a THEME or Special Holiday, that is always fun! We have a great group on here!
People can sign up and you will know how many are coming.
I always ask for group discounts in restaurants and put signs in the window so local Singles can join us. The more the merrier.
I am looking forward to hanging out with you guys!

Would love a get together to see old friends and make new ones. Just get it together and post the event and see how many signs up. In the past you can only count 15 or 20 that signs up to show up and then there will be some that don't sign up but shows up.

I was beginning to wonder if anyone here knew what a "meet and greet" was.
I saw a couple other posts mention meet n greet but they were just single guys trying to get a woman.
If anybody gets an event together I'll be there. I wish I could get one together but my organizational skills are seriously lacking.

Just find a place that will allow say 10 or 15 + get together, at a park, club, anywhere, then post it on here, I bet I know some from Cullman area, and north Ala that will show up. I'm ready for a road trip.
Some can car pool with other and who knows this may just start it off again. We use to get together once a month somewhere. I know I will do my best to be there and get Joy to come with me. Just need to know day/place/time
