have had alot of problems with men being extremly rude and disturbing about me being a single mother. ive had to remove pics and info about my life because of single mom bashing.
does this happen offten?
have you experienced single mom baashing?
and is there a double standerd for single mothers?

"You aren't raising him ALONE are you?"
"who cooks and cleans for you?"
"yeah, but you have GF that really takes care of him, right?"

Agood. I hear that. To the ops. Oh there are for sure double standards on both sides of the fence. Personally I prefer a single mother. Than also most my age have or about an empty nest, and not interested. Or so it seems around this neck of the woods.
Note that I used the word most.

I've experienced the same thing. You can't take the site that seriously though. My son is a big part of my life. If they don't understand you or where you're coming from I'd rather they not even bother or let themselves be easily spotted as narrow-minded.
Most of us never dreamed of being down this road alone raising a child without their father by our side but that is our reality. The opinions of those who are not meant to walk down our path with us simply aren't relevant. I'm proud to be a mother. I will not hide it.

The most I've gotten is my children being called mutts, and me a tramp because my children were mixed and I was a single mother. What made me feel better was that the entire restaurant filled with people of all different shades grew angry with her and told her off. She got uncomfortable and left.

I think there's more bashing on the Internet vs real life, then again it depends on where you live. Just ignore the negativity, you don't owe anyone an explanation.

Most of the guys who bash would seem to me to be the needy guys who want to be treated like your kid or has mom issues.
Being a divorced dad when I was dating, most of those in my age range were parents already. Fact of life. People have histories ever before you. You either accept it or you don't.
I don't think there are double standards because I've had a few say they don't want to deal with a guy with an ex who gave me children. it happens..

I and many of my friends ( both female and male ) have been divorced and never been bashed,
but then again, i have never had children out of wedlock.
if you are so concerned about " what other people care and think " you should of
thought about that before your promiscuous behavior, premarital sexual encounters,
and your resulting pregnancy without the benefit of a husband.
