Woodstock VII Campout June 6 - June 8, 2014
Ready for another fun Woodstock Event??? This is such a good time... I have met a lot of people through this... People from Nebraska, Iowa Missouri and Kansas show up.....

Friday, June 6, 2014 (arrive after Noon)
Sunday June 8, 2014 (leave by 1:00pm)
WHERE:
Jim Prater Memorial Park
280 State Route H
Fillmore, Missouri 64449
DIRECTIONS:.
Jim Prater Memorial Park is approximately 1-1/2 hours north of KC and 2 hours south of Omaha.
Directions:
This is 12.6 miles off I-29 at Exit 65 or US 59.
Directions:
1. Head north on US-59 S 338 ft
2. Turn right to stay on US-59 S 0.5 mi
3. Take the 1st left onto State Hwy H 9.5 mi
4. Turn right to stay on State Hwy H 2.5 mi
Campground is located 8 miles north of Fillmore on ‘H’ highway. Watch for signs- you will turn left into the drive, it has short white fences on both sides. The drive is about 3/10 of a mile and the campground is on the right.
It is 30 miles from St. Joe and 20 miles from Maryville.
COST (Pay as you enter the Campground):
The Campground owner is giving us a discount, the pads are $20.00 per person for one night, $35.00 per person for two nights.
Karen (joykrazy1) will collect payment (cash) when you arrive.
If you’d like to camp Thursday June 5th as well, three nights will be $50.00 per person. This cost includes electricity, shower facilities, restrooms, picnic area, dance pavilion with DJ/Karaoke.
If you don't want to camp, the cost will be $10.00 per person per day to visit the Campground and join us for the DJ/Karaoke.
BACKGROUND:
The MO people held this event the past 6 yrs, 4 yrs ago, an Omaha People joined them and a new tradition was born!
It’s a great time to relax, have fun and meet new people. Let’s have a great crowd again this year to keep the tradition going!!!
DAY ACTIVITIES:
Fishing – 2 ponds stocked with catfish, bass and crappie.
Games - Bring outdoor games or board games/cards. Napping, drinking, hiking and competitive games are all enjoyed. Walmart is fairly close if you need to purchase anything.
EVENING ACTIVITIES:
Campfire will be nightly, all fires must be in a fire pit or on gravel.
Friday night: Relax and cook whatever you like for yourself and have dinner whenever you want.
Saturday night: Potluck dinner at 5:30 at the Pavilion. Each person needs to bring a side item and their own meat to grill (grills will be available). Afterwards is the DJ/Karaoke/Dancing.
BYOB:
It’s BYOB for the whole weekend - whatever you choose to drink, alcohol is allowed at this campground.
NOTE: Keep your Campsites clean, trash cans are supplied.
REMEMBER WE ARE GUESTS. RESPECT THE PROPERTY!!!!
ICE:
Bags of Ice are available for purchase at the campground.
BREAKFAST AND LUNCH:
Breakfast and Lunch will be every day for purchase at the kitchen area from the park owner (very reasonably priced).
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
RV's/campers/tents are all welcome. Every pad has electricity (30 AMP). You need to bring your own food, cooking/cleaning supplies and personal items. The campground has showers.
