I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of Tabata Training before. If so...have you tried it? What are your thoughts?

The problem with Tabata training is that no one does it correctly. It's more than just 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest for 8 rounds. It is 20 seconds all out intensity pushing yourself to the brink. By the time the 4 mins is done, you're done for the day.
But these days, gyms adopt the Tabata set up of 20/10 for multiple rounds and hour long classes. So it isn't true Tabata. You have to be in REALLY good shape to get through a true 4 minute Tabata workout.
