Well packersbabe and majic_1--back to let you know that UK did travel the 5000 miles, by train, plane, and bus to get here. I'm not here to boast---because it seems that the relationship became null/void when we moved from online and made it personal, because he is well on his way. And although I am a little sadden about this, it is what's best for the both of us. And I'm back in the hunt for real uncomplicated love. I don't have anything crude or ugly to say about him, this sight, or you. I'm just a woman of my word and I said I would check back so here I am. I feel some people here are hopeful as I am, some people are just here to have something else to blame why they are alone, and some people here are just down right cruel and are here only to stomp on everyone's feelings===but that's okay. These kind of people are everywhere... But I refuse to allow anyone to steal my joy. I seek to share a little happiness with a man that wants the same. I found someone on this site by complete accident while screwing around in the forums. We've been together for 2.5 years now and it is a long distance relationship. Me in Denver and her in Kansas City. We see each other a couple times a month for long weekends.
LD can work but it is also difficult at times too. It certainly takes two people willing to deal with the distance.
There are a few men on this site that honestly want something real and good in regards to a relationship, but you will have to search them out from all the a**holes.

Thanks Guys for the kind words and the encouragement to keep on keeping on. I'll remember your advice as I travel this journey. Two things my mom always say to me: 1)"what doesn't kill me will make me strong" and 2)"Baby, Life is too short to live it miserably". So I try to learn as I go, I acknowledge that I'm never be too old to learn, and a mistake is just a learning experience.
