Who else is pumped for the unveiling of zelda U? What aspects do you want it to take from the games before it. I beat skyward sword and twilight princess recently in anticipation.

I personally hope the game has TP graphics with the apparent 3 hour dungeons I read about online. I also want it the have that ocarina feeling, the feeling that will make moments of it memorable for years to come

Zelda and nintendo games just really don't do it for me anymore, don't get me wrong I use to love em. I guess I just kinda grew out of em, Zelda got replaced by games like Skyrim and Dark Souls for me.

I can't wait for the Legend of Zelda Hyrule Warriors. Also they're in the makes of another Zelda game. It was shown in E3 of 2011 or 2012 E3

The Legend of Zelda is my favorite video game series but we haven't got any info about the new one yet so hopefully, Nintendo will tell us at E3.

Zelda games own all others. I don't even really play anything other than Zelda games and music games lately.

All I can say is they BETTER release a true Zelda game for the wii u rather than screwing me over by having it come out on some other system.

I am playing through all Zelda console games again and am down towards the end now. What's weird is when I first played MM, I hated it, but now I truly consider it one of the top few Zelda games and honestly I think it's less stale on replays than any other, actually. Too abd they really can't make another one like it and it be accepted well, as it wouldn't seem unique, but I wish they would. Or maybe make some remalke where it's about the same but four new huge dungeons and more masks to get and characters and whatnot.

Technically Nintendo won't be at E3, but I assume their big announcements will still be around those days. I'm worried they still don't have enough to tell us much about it and will just do some sneak peek video, which will annoy me because they should have enough done to be able to give us hints.

Honestly, though, I think Im going tot ry to read NOTHING about he story. I'll see the name and HOPEFULLY I am able to ignore the rest because it would be much more fun if surprised while playing.

I saw on some eshop videos, on my Wii U, that Nintendo will be there. There is even like a skit, where someguys make a robot Regie, to sneak into Nintendo offices, to find out E3 secrets

Nintendo will be at E3, they just won't be doing a big conference. They will be doing Nintendo Directs just like last year.

oh, ok, thanks. I just assumed last year and this they weren't even there, but probably is indeed just them skipping the press conferences, which seems a bit dumb, but oh well. I hope nintendo turns things back around, but seriously I can't stand the wii u gamepad myself and I am always a big Nintendo fan. For wind waker I keep using the pro controller because I think it feels weird holding a big wide tablet.

The gamepad is used in some really cool ways in some games and it's great for browsing the net and other things the system does. The problem is most developers don't know how to cleverly use it so it gets shoehorned or ignored completely. I have a lot of confidence that Zelda will use it in a kickass way.

Same as with the wii remote and the plus one. It took forever before any third aprties used it well at all. But like I said I hate the feel of the tablet, no matter how well it's used. I am already dreading it for Mario kart 8, so may not use that for controlling. It feels very awkward after so many years of hlding small controllers, to suddenly have my hands wide apart holding a rectangular object!

I've played no true wii u game yet. lol I've played wind waker, but obviously that wasn't a new game. I have nintendoland, but haven't played it. I wish third aprties would make good sports games for wii u and also hopefully Zelda is out in 2015, but I bet it will be 2016 and maybe a different console.

If Nintendo DOES make a new console soon, they better give wii u owners a 50% discount!

Nintendo is going to fail and it's sad because it's the console I grew up on. I know the wii sold well but I mean has there ever been a more garbage system? And the wii u isn't a whole lot more powerful than the last Gen systems. They need to just get rid of all the gimicky BS the weirods in Japan love so much and actually release a real system.

The wii was good enough for me, but the motion controls never ended up very good. people insisted the motion controls were oh so great in skyward sword, yet even Nintendo says the reason it didn't sell more was because people didn't like the motion controls. I liked the game a lot, but 1. the motion controls were terrible for me. I had to constantly recalibrate the controller over and over when playing. and 2. they only had a few areas! Same with wind waker. I really like Zelda games to have big open lands, not islands you show up at and there is barely anything there. Otherwise, I liked most other things about skyward sword.

I played the wii version, but still did like it a lot. At least the motions in it were based on the accelerometer rather than the sensor bar being involved (unless I am forgetting some instances of sensor bar being used, but if it was, it wasn't often).

I have Resident Evil Revelations on Wii U, and it seems like the best version, of that game. Using the gamepad as a second screen, feels more like the 3DS version. Also the Miiverse stuff is cool. A new Zelda would be nice, but I'll be busy with Mariokart 8, and Smash Bros!

You need to play Nintendo Land. It makes really good use of the gamepad and it is an absolute blast with friends. If you don't have any friends, the single player is still really cool for most of the games.

yeah I just have a lot of games for wii and wii u and VC games I keep not getting around to, but I bet I would indeed like some Nintendo land games.

Man, I'm mad I didn't notice dell was giving a $25 gift card to those preordering Mario kart 8 and now they stopped it! You already get a free game with it, as it is, so that would be an awesome deal to get a $25 GC too.

Do you mean Majoras Mask on 3DS, or in HD on Wii U? Or would you buy both? I think I would!

Are you talking about Dell? Don't feel bad. They weren't shipping the game until like June 2nd and it would take 3-5 days to be delivered. Preorder from Best Buy. You will get a $10 gas card if you do and you can pick up MK8 in the store on May 30th. I played the MK8 demo today at Gamestop. Maybe one in your area will have it too.

Thanks. Another deal I see is a $5 gift card for newegg and they don't charge tax, but then I'd have to find something else to buy with that gift card.... I may do like some others and wait for some other deal. A lot of times walmart or target will have $10 off of a new game.

SOrry to go all off topic. On topic, I will probably buy the Zelda game coming out this year, but obviously not the same as a real Zelda game.

I don't have a 3ds, so they need to remake it on wii u. By remake, though, I mean add a ton of new areas, dungeons, and people to help. Maybe even a totally different adventure, but in the same Termina. It still amazes me how I went from hating that game to loving it on the second playthrough. Meanwhile, opposite for wind waker.... loved it the first time and not nearly as much starting on the second playthrough.

Everyone has different preferences but as far as the three consoles go currently it is the weakest IMO. I own it because of Zelda. Same reason why I owned a wii and same reason why I owned a gamecube. Come to think of it I can't remember playing much more on the n64 than ocarina. Well I take that back there was goldeneye. Man that game was awesome.

Nintendo is so, so dumb. No company with sense could think 1 game per week for virtual console for wii u is good enough. At that rate they';; have all games released for VC around 40+ years from now. That's about as bright as Jason from texas' opinions on abortion, religion, etc.

Exactlty!!Screw the virtual console, prefer using emulators over the vc any day,vc is so limited, rather play the classics (Nes-N64 etc) on my phone rather then on the Wii U or 3Ds,same goes for Ds games,Android does what Nintendon't Ps:I love Nintendo.

Now I played a game on the wii u vc (I actually hadn't played one since switching from wii to wii u) and used the pro controller and it doesn't really feel good for NES games. I honestly should have just not got those games and should have played on my nes. I have a top loading nes, which is great. Now I might as well sell it, though, or I just asted money on the vc games. sigh.

Well, it was announced and is coming out next year, but not named and also honestly I don't know how excited I can be for a game using the gamepad. That feels so horribly uncomfortable that I've been playing wind waker with the pro controller and I bet there will be no choosing for the new Zelda game so the whole time I'll be uncomfortable. Also people are commenting that link looks like a girl and last thing I want is to play as a TG character.

There's no doubt I like the fact it will be a huge world and you can play dungeons out of order, so hopefully it comes through for me. That's the main thing I was annoyed with in skyward sword is all those tiny areas instead of a big open field. And also the wii motion plus controls were horrible for me and so many reviews claimed they were good that I thought it was just me, but now I read other people saying they didn't like them either. When flying on the bird the stupid controller would keep losing its calibration.

Me , either, but nothing they do will make me like the tablet, regardless. Only if it were off to the side with maps on it, but not as the controller. I hope it truly comes out in 2015 like they say. I was really doubting one would be out before 2016.

I bet what they will do is have it where on your WAY to dungeons you find items. Maybe you'll still find the in dungeons, too, but I bet there will be some item on the way there, where you can truly do them in any order. But what they NEED to do is still make them easier if you do certain ones first, and also make tougher enemies in some, that way there is still skill to it, rather than just randomly doing them in an order with no repercussions.

Not to get off topic, but I've never understood what made smash bros. so popular. I mostly only tried single player on melee and one time played multi and never got interested at all. It just seemed boring to stand there pressing buttons. I wonder what I am missing and if I should be tempted to get the wii u one. I also never got into Mario galaxy.

I have a new theory that you use a mii to be the main character.

I know I am!!! I think that this Zelda might....just might take place after WW because of Link wearing the same clothes as he did in Wind Waker from the start. This could be new land of hyrule after the flood.

I saw E3 Trailer of the Zelda Wii U.

What does everyone think of the theory?

It's possible and I guess it's ok with me. I really wish they had decided to make it more of the style of OoT, MM, TP, though, rather than this more colorful look. I just hope they didn't rush this to the point of it having too few dungeons like WW had.

It looks like the Op predicted the new Zelda. Since the Windwaker HD came out last winter, we would not hear of a new Zelda this soon. Good thing I was wrong! Also it looks better, then ever!

Ehh not excited, guess I'm gona pass, just like I did with SS,I guess only the 3D Zelda games from Oot to TP interest me,pretty cool how you can plag as Midna in Hyrule Warriors, hoping for Skull Kid too, seeing the Moon from MM in that game in HD was pretty cool, idk maybe I'll get it,gota see what else that game will offer,I'm disapointed for no MM 3D :/

I liked skyward sword, even though the motion controls were annoying because the stupid controller had to constantly recalibrate for me. Also, I thought it was dumb that there were only a few small areas that had all the dungeons! But it was still great. I guess my top favorites are still OoT, MM, and TP, but SS is right up close to them.

Also, get one of your 18 yo female friends who likes Zelda games to date me.
