On Thursday, May 12, 2011, an 80 year old substitute teacher was physically attacked by a 9th grade student at Windham High School (Willimantic, CT) in the classroom. Students in the class even recorded the attack with their phone video cameras! On the video, you can see the kid doing a bizarre Crips like dance near the elderly sub. Then the kid starts pushing, shoving, and punching the old man until the sub falls to the floor! Some of the kids in the class can be heard laughing and cheering for what their thug punk classmate did!
Kids sent the recordings all over on their phones. The recordings were even sent to teachers! Teachers and the kid's assistant principal saw the video footage of the attack. Yet, the kid received a very light punishment. The assistant principal didn't have the kid suspended, expelled, or arrested. Instead, the kid was given a couple of days of ISS (in school suspension). The only reason the kid ended up with a couple of days of OSS (out of schools suspension) was because he had been rude to the ISS teacher!
That kid should have been expelled and arrested for the crime he did! The elderly sub stopped subbing at Windham High School after that.
But what comes around, goes around! Karma is a b##ch!
That assistant principal who got promoted to principal and headmaster has finally gotten his! There were complaints about him before the Connecticut Latino and Puerto Rican Affairs Commission public hearing at the state capital in January 2014 (see the public hearing testimony on that commission's web site). Also, that administrator was placed on paid suspension on March 21, 2014, and physically walked out of Windham High School! He's still on paid suspension and not allowed back in the school. He did some very very bad things! He will likely be fired or forced to resign. He and his bisexual school social worker girlfriend (who he cheated on his wife with, his wife divorced him and threw his butt out of their house)did some very very bad things at Windham High School.
And the kid. Well, he's graduating but with a 5th grade reading level and a poor academic and discipline record. He will likely become another statisitc...another Puerto Rican thug male locked up in prison.
So justice happens eventually! You do bad to others, then later on, bad things will happen to you!

Thanks for the information . We don't get any news waaay out here in CA. First of all, why is the 80 year-old even working? He should be enjoying his retirement years. Let me guess, his retirement fund was gambled away on stocks. Crazy! I used to sub and now you know why I don't.

I seen the taped attack. My cousin's a teacher at Windham High School. She had that on her phone. She said that assistant principal totally botched up the case!

This isn't fake! That substitute teacher really was attacked by the kid at Windham High School on May 12, 2011. And all this really happened where the administrator gave the kid a really light punishment instead of a more deserving punishment. I could say names in here, but I won't because that would violate privacy ethics rules!
That kid should have been arrested and expelled!
Ironically, now that administrator has been on paid suspensiion since Mar. 21, 2014 (he was walked out of Windham High School) and he will be expelled himself from Windham High School....forced to resign!

The kid Matt who did the attack didn't graduate from high school. The principal Albie has been forced to resign.
So yes, justice has finally happened for that elderly substitute teacher.

Karma is a great thing. Justice does happen. Albie should have done the right thing in this case, but he didn't. Eventually, his errant ways caught up with him though. Can't do drugs on school property, homie! That's a no no. That's why you're no longer the principal. Makes me wonder if you were high when you mishandled the discipline in this case of the elderly sub being attacked by the student.

Inkman must have reading comprehension problems.
The teacher Ms. Mango didn't record the attack. Students recorded the attack on their phones and sent the video of the attack to Ms. Mango's phone! Ms. Mango showed the taped attack to other teachers and to the assistant principal Albert Harris, however, Mr. Harris did not properly handle the discipline or legalities in this situation.

This incident really happened. I was working at Windham High School when the attack happened. Everything the OP says is true.
