Dear Diary, Went to mow lawn. Not a drop of gas left in the 5 gal. can. I didn't do it. I've told son a hundred times... He's not even here now to feel my wrath. Oh, and he left ignition on and drained the battery dead. Plus...he borrowed my charger a month ago and hasn't brought it back yet. Lord give me strength.

I think it is a day of having to hold our breath over our children. Today, my daughter did a few things, that so took me back to her teenage years. You know, everything that goes wrong is Mom's fault.
That new home is looking better and better. It is in a different town.

Drinking coffee and pondering projects of the day... maybe re-set the retaining wall blocks. Frost heave does a job on them over the yrs and the snowplow knocking them over sure didn't help...there goes a pair of gloves.

Oh my, bb..I HAVE to have the coffee time first... and I can then put the 6 to 8 hours in...
And today..the juniper is no more! It was so big I couldn't find the trunk til I lopped it.. put the braches on a tarp and pulled 2 heavy loads about 75 feet. Saved mower gas but Yep..another achin'butt evening.
Then went to kfc for dinner to go...

I found a couple buckets of deer legs (that the hunters left last winter) behind the machine building. Fired up the skid loader, threw the buckets in the loader and hauled them out to the back timber. Was sitting there having a smoke when I saw a mama deer with her two fawns down by the pond getting a drink. Thought to myself..... man, life is full of ironies. There I was hauling the remains of dead deer and new life right in front of me. It made the job less repugnant.

I had a very good time at dinner last night--And the food was delicious as always.
Tonight--the celebration of my son-in-law's third year of sobriety.
I am so proud of his continual growth as a young man. What a difference from three years ago when he--as all alcoholics must do--hit rock bottom.
Recital tomorrow--My granddaughter looks adorable in her tutu.

I am beginning to think my daughter's neighbors are nuts--I was getting out of my car and the gossip of their neighborhood was walking her newly adopted dogs. I generally try to avoid her--She is one that knows everything about everyone--Or, so she thinks. Anyways, she tells me the story of how she got her two dogs--Seems the owner died (at age 42) from a massive heart attack. His wife, having no funds had to move in with her parents--and they did not allow the dogs to come with her.
Anyways--then she asks how long my husband has been gone--Then informs me I should go to church and find a FWB---WTH---I would be lying, if I didn't say, the inner me, thought of telling her--Look lady, you are all of 4 foot tall--and weigh 300 pounds--Maybe, you should walk those newly adopted dogs of yours--around the block a few times--not just the 25 feet you walk them to do their business.
Last time I had one of those WOW moments--The lady across the street informed me of her new boyfriend and how great her sex life was-- I didn't know what to say to her--except--"I'm happy for you!!" --I have come to the conclusion, there must be something in the water in that area.---

DD, I just went through two small boxes of papers and sorted them.
Don't think I need to keep the utility bills from 2011.
I am a hoarder when it comes to paper.
Still have my diaries from high school.
If I sell my house I don't want to move all my papers again.
