Ground flax seed with the original 57% Fiber One cereal and any nonfat soy, almond, or non fat milk is the best start to your day, usually add a small banana for my potassium because I work out regularly. Most granola is to sugar filled and it will elevate the triglycerides which can turn into cholesterol.

Go organic. Tried it and can't go back. It taste better and good for you. Web search "The Dirty Dozen, organic." Stay away from fast food and diet labels too! Also web search "Heart Healthy Recipes." And above all, mostly cook your food rather than reading out often, and read the sodium on labels when you shop for groceries. If it says low sodium, or heart healthy, read the label because sometimes it's not. Good for you eating healthy.
