Yes I have. Met wonderful people. Good people. Don't give up just try it. More exposure online than in your little hometown.
KYgirl, give it a chance.
Block the jerks and guess it appears there are plenty but for every jerk there are 9 good people out there. Hang in and meet them.
And the toga party is still in the works.

I have met so many good and wonderful friends on here it is unreal. DH has blessed me more then I could ever imagine possible. I have met life long friends on here. I've not met all of them in person, but I do plan on meeting some in the near future if at all possible.
Friendships are worth more to me then gold. I know this wan't exactly what you meant, but I wanted to say this anyway.

You know Toris isn't telling the whole truth....Since he has been on here, he has drawn the attention of a lot more extra terrestrial beings to his home...and while he might want you to think they were only after his socks and laundry, what he has not told you was the vast majority of them have been female. Now the official statement by the U.S. Government is that their is no proof of E.T.s out there, however a anonymous source says that in the last 10 years they have noticed the aliens they have now encountered seem more aloof, dressed like they don't care or give a damn and have a smartass attitude. So while I won't quite go Oliver Stone here...I think Toris has been very successful here on DH with his reach out to the stars effort!   "We come in peace and don't give a sh@t!"

It's the "flag to deletion" bunch. They hang out GD and suggestions think it was. Bunch of them all flag every post you make, no matter what it is. DH doesn't look at why the post is flagged, they look at you have 20-25 flags and out you go.

I have spent just a few hours over there in general discussion...just lurking, not talking. Good God! Someone needs to stop pumping the stupid gas into that area before they spill over into the general masses. These people can't string two ideas together and now they have a hacker that circumvents the DH moderators who truly don't care what goes on, who is at fault or questions why decent normal people are getting deleted. all they are trained to do is give one answer. "We are sorry, but the rules were violated enough that it got you deleted. We do not get involved in personal disputes....yoda yoda yoda"...If they would investigate and see where this nonsense in General Discussions is coming from it would certainly clean up that place. Be careful DH Chat members what you say and do in that area of DH. It truly is the other side of the tracks there.
