I have it in both my feet... just got cortisone shots yesterday...
Anyone had it before? What's the best home remedy? Doc only tell me to take ibuprofen or get shots... and less working out...
Well less working out is out of question... i will alter exercises but not less... i didnt gain weight... im 5'4" 125-130lbs... weight is not a factor in my case...
Any recommendations?

I have had that issue for a few years. wear your boot on days that your home.
I know that some athletes like Eli Manning and Albert Pujois have had surgery.
I would bet that they have special shoes that they wear.
Good luck!

Used a hole saw (like you use to install a door nob) in the center of the shoe heel. Used Amlactin (lactic acid) skin softener on my heel and it eventually went away.My Dr just gave me some soft heel pads which did little until I drilled the holes.

Also put my foot on a hot pad at each meal and some watching tv at night plus in hot Epsom salt water. After reading on it the massaging the lotion in rather than the type of lotion probably helped, but if you want soft feet

Yes maam I have had this.
It's awful!
Okay talking from experience here...
Do not use heat-wrong idea.
Use ice. It helps with the inflammation on the bottom of the feet. Take a couple water bottles and freeze them and roll your feet over them wrapped in a towel. Do this slowly over the whole bottom of foot twenty minutes at a time.
The power step insoles drs love to say to use but they made my pain awful and it got better when I quit using them.
The only real remedy is good shoes and insoles. The best shoes I have found and the podiatrist recommends is new balance 928.
The lower numbered new balance won't help. I tried them. Only the 928 will work. Never go barefoot or wear flip flops or sandals etc-have to wear the 928 all the time.
I couldn't walk when I had it. Mine is much better now. The shoes is everything. Nike and the others won't work. Only these new balance ones.
If you can tolerate ibuprofen for the inflammation take it. It will help because what this is is an inflammation on the whole bottom of the foot-that's why the ice.
When it gets better if you go back to heels or non-good shoes it's likely to return. The good shoes is the permanent answer. They cost 125 and are worth it.

Heat will feel comforting but it doesn't help. Ice reduces inflammation.

Pretty sure you need to ditch those heels! Your podiatrist can get a boot for you to strap on at night which will help in time. Great fitting, comfortable, arch supporting with a custom arch support shoes will help. Yeah, I know not the kind of foot apparel that one would want to go dancing in. I had this 1 time in my life and I almost was in a wheelchair till it healed it is so very painful. The night splints and I have a high arch so I bought arch support designed for my feet. This has cured the issue for many years now. I do not nor can I wear heels though-immediate pain...Good luck with finding the best solution so you can keep feeling good about your shoes you want to wear.

I'm 25 and regret some of the footwear choices I've made this far in life. Foot pain is the worst. Why go they treatment for plantar fasciitis if you're not going to do everything you can to relieve the pain and live as close to normally
