Birds should be flying from tree to tree.
I am sure you are a lovely person with good intentions, however, I do not condone the caging or restraining of any living creatures

They are really pretty parakeets. They look like they have a very sweet personality also. I have a couple rescue birdies that I love. Mine were trained to be in a cage from the previous owner and since I have large dogs it is safer for them to be confined in their cages. Some people have devoted a whole spare bedroom of their house to let their birds roam free in and this would be a great solution if the room were available. Parakeets do so many cute things with their toys. I had a parakeet that talked a lot and lived at least 18yrs! My daughter named him Joyful as he was always so cheery from sun up to sun down. The birdie never had a bad day.
