You don'y loose the weight overnight. Keep doing what you are doing. Eat the right stuff, all you drink is water, eat small bites, and don't smoke. If you are craving for fiood, try to stay away from those oily ones.

Believe me it will work. A lot of people are trying to loose weight; not only you. When you eat out, go with friends, not alone because that is when you tend want to eat more.

Losing weight for some people is much more difficult than for others. It really depends on metabolism, age, genetics,diet and exercise.
I just had my second weight loss surgery, eat very healthy, very small meals, excersize 31 minutes 3x a day on a treadmill 3.3 incline 10 and the weight is dropping very slowly. The doc just put me on fen fen to help but still weight drags.I am down to 133 lbs but I only weighed 161 before surgery. Insurance did not cover anything. The idiot who makes the decisions wanted to wait until I gained 80 lbs and had all the health problems that come with it.I often wonder what ever happened to the old saying " prevention is worth a pound of cure"

First of all, u need to know why ur gaining weight, and it is usualy two reason.
#1 ur eating foods that acidifies the blood, and when that happens the liver has to produce fat to neutralize the damage that the acid could cause to the body tissue. If the amount of acifocation is too high, the body cannon get rid of the excesive fat and start to acumulate in the body, there is more to it than that, but that is short explanation.

#2 you may have thyroid unbalance and you should check that with ur doctor and take care of that problem.

How to lose weight? In a simple explanation, you have to alkalinize ur body and keep it alkaline all the time, you will lose weight as a result, and u will be much helthier too. Raw vegetables will keep u alkaline, drink destiled water and if you cant then add a 1/2 spoon of sodium bicarbonate to a glass of water. The ideal amount of water to drink is 1 liter per every 30 lbs of weight.

My advice is to follow a few rules and keep it simple. Exert control over quantities consumed of carbohydrates and fats (cause that's where most calories are concentrated), while eating freely of green vegetables and fruit. Throw in some kind of exercise that you enjoy doing. I started with walking workouts at the end of January and have lost around 50 pounds in weight. I got really into it and was eventually walking 50 miles a week, but then I started including some running and unfortunately developed a knee injury (patellofemoral pain). I'm doing gym most days now and the weight has increased from my year best but is nonetheless fairly stable.
What I'd advise for long lasting weight loss is adopt habits you can maintain indefinitely. Aim for healthy eating. I read a recent article saying that a Mediterranenean diet with lots of salads tossed in olive oil is good for weight loss and a healthy heart. It's something to do with how chemicals in the olive oil interact with chemicals in the green leafy vegetables.

Besides eating healthier, you want to weight train to lose weight. Weight training uses a lot of stored calories in the form of stored muscle sugar, thereby somewhat "keeping your tank on empty", which along with also raising your metabolism, creates a more effective calorie deficit than dieting alone. Plus it tones you up. Dieting alone fails.

medications, and medical problems can influence the desired loss...
it didn't come on overnight, so it takes time to come off..
its a lifestyle change, just not a diet.
