3 yrs ago (in august) I used this site, & a few others, to get back into dating. I only met one person & it was on this site. We both were just getting out of a long relationship, so we kept it casual. We started off slow, no friends with benefits, just friends.
By January 2012, we decided to be a couple. In June 2012, he asked me to marry him. We stayed engaged for 2 yrs & finally tied the knot July 11 2014.
This site was responsible for us meeting. I want to let people know that any dating site can only help to a certain point. They are great tools for finding people if you're not into bars, or don't have many opportunities to meet other singles. A lot of people get discouraged with online dating though. Remember it's a platform.
I've learned that there's more to finding the person you want to be with. Sometimes it all comes down to timing. If you meet someone who is compatible & in the right place, you can be successful. Don't waste time with people who aren't on the same page, whether you're looking for fun, or for something serious, you want to have the same goal.
I wish everyone luck with whatever they're looking for.
