I know that nintendo had more success and was more popular. .however sega did well with arcade games.Outrun, after burner, plus they can boast Sonic and mortal combat on genesis having blood option even though superr nintendo was graphically better imo.

Only game in the Sega console that can give Nintendo a run for its money is the first 3 Sonic games and a few others.....gamer

The genesis was a solid system with a lot of good games . Unfortunately the dreamcast was probably the biggest console faliure of all time . Time doesn't lie and Nintendo has stood that test. Does anyone remember that f**king bazooka for the super Nintendo? That thing was crazy fun, I wish they came out with more bazooka compatible games though.

As a proud owner of an Atari Jaguar, I can say with certainty that the Dreamcast was not the biggest failure of all time.
And back to the original question, I didn't have either back in the day, but when I went to friends' houses, I always enjoyed Sega more. I think a lot of it was all the Arcade ports Sega had, and my Nintendo owning friends had collections full of what we today call shovelware.

Nintendo they are a monster when it comes to the gameboy well ds now lol prolly will be for a long time unless someone challenges them in that department. Not only that they have house hold names like Zelda,Mario, meteroid, dk etc etc that kids and adults love.
Their marketing is mostly aimed at kids though but it's worked out for them for the most part.

No way house of the dead overkill & madworld are made by sega & they are very fun mature rated games to play on the nintendo wii.
