I'm growing more familiar with the features on this site, but I've noticed that some visitors to my profile have removed any evidence that they were ever there. I'm wondering how this can be done outside of deleting the account if we have any control over that function at all? As far as I can tell, people who check me out are archived in the same way the profiles I visit are, and that we can't edit either one. Any ideas?

Go to "home"...click on "account" over on the left panel,The "account options" menu will open....scroll down to "who I've viewed" and click "true or false" to select if you want to view someone anonymously...like you,they'll get an e-mail notice saying they've been viewed but you can't see them................As a helpful suggestion,reduce the size of your profile picture by at least half(preferably a little more) and re upload it,it's so big,it's blowing the blog page up to reduce sentence structure space...just sayin'.

Thanks and a hat tip for the reply Earl, although it didn't answer my question. Perhaps that's because I didn't make the point clear enough. I couldn't find the account preferences you spoke of under the "Home" category, but under "Settings."
However I heeded your warning about the size of my photo and deleted it. I figure if someone is interested enough to ask, I'll forward it privately. In fact, I amended my profile to relay the option.

Oh,ok Dan. I think I know what you meant by your question now,its happened to me a few times too (it showed them,and then the next time it didn't?).
I'm not sure if it's a glitch in the system,or if they may have changed their settings after viewing and it removed their pic. As for your profile pic?,I'd encourage you to keep one up,especially being new here. people tend to think "scammer" without one,as well as people are very visual for first attraction.
