I agree with what you said about FF13. I think it's one of the best looking games I ever seen. My main problem is it could have been a hack& slash( Kingdom Hearts), type game. Or turn based. Not something in between. I see more people say they like FF12, so I am not saying it's bad, I just didn't like it. I didn't like the battle system

My personal favorite was final fantasy 5. It did the job system right. However for story it would be ff6.
Now what i would really like is a job based game where only one character can take the job at a time so no party's full of dark knights.
Then give every character a unique ability that no other can replicate. And i don't mean limit brakes either.

Well to answer that number one question..

I kno Final Fantasy well enough that it died after part 9 and then an excellent game called type 0 came out for psp in japan

... I believe type-0 is a breath of fresh air for the series because lately. ..nothing good ever comes out from square Enix

I am about to get into Final Fantasy 12 once I am done with Final Fantasy 4. Is 12 really that bad. I personally never played due to the various complaints and negative reviews and decided to give it a chance. Final Fantasy 13 from my initial opinion felt it did too much. Lightning was a solid character, but I honestly never gotten into the story like I should have and by midgame just felt it didn't captivate me like the earlier games lacking that medieval feel that I been used to.....gamer

I started with ff1.
Loved it. The inventory system sucked, but I loved it all the same. I download it to new phones and still play it. The new inventory system makes it so much better.
Next one I played was 6. I loved terra, and named my daughter after her.
I then played 7, 8 and 9. Each one was really good, but each was just a little worse. When they rereleased 5 and 6, and later 1 & 2 I grabbed them as well. To date, I still have not played 3 as released in japan (they released 6 as 3 for the snes in the US)
Then came x. It was... ok. A serious downgrade from previous games, and x-2 was just atrocious. 11 was released as an mmo and required a ps hardware upgrade. I was sketchy on the mmo part, and had no desire to get the upgrade.
12 got me back in. It was fairly good. The system was new and innovational, the story was great... my only complaints are that penelo and vaash had no business existing and that f**king fight with the ultimate hunt that took hours to complete.
Then came 13. 13 was so bad I will never play a new ff again. I literally couldn't finish. The story was bad, the characters were bad, the battle system was bad, the game had no redeeming qualities at all. And they mafe a SECOND. Nope, no more.

I Final Fantasy Love FF7, FF8, and FFX. Also love FF Tactics. LOL I even used to have a cat named Moogle
