I found an old picture of my parents taken at Christmas time. What wonderful memories coming back of those days. This will help make my Christmas happier.
For a new years resolution I am trying to think of something that is a bit different then the ordinary resolutions. Does anyone have any ideas?

Happy.. I think Christmas comes with a lot of Past Memories. I sit and think about "How It Used Be" and how it is now. I try to do things that my Daughter and G/Children will remember me by on these Holidays... Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have a Box of Ol' pictures..the Family enjoys looking at these on Christmas Day.

i was just looking at all the pictures i have today.have a lot of the grandchildren taken in virginia and here in pa.
i talked to a friend i worked with today.he lives about 30 miles from here.i havent heard from him for about 20 years,he said he and his wife will come to visit after christmas.
was really nice to talk to an old buddy.

I did not find an old guy under my tree..lol..but maybe on New years? My tree will still be up..the other guy did not pan out. Oh well...You have to kiss a lot of frogs as the saying goes...

What a great rose parade yesterday. The theme was Inspiration From All Over The World.
I love seeing all those beaturiful and talented floats. Those Chydesdales are so amazing. I was lucky enought to see those horses in person and they are really big horses. WOW..

Had a very nice birthday party on saturday.My kids did a great job of setting up the party,had lots of relations from cleveland ohio, virginia and latrobe.also had a coupleit was really a nice feeling old friend from way back.the kids and grandkids came down to my house after the party and again sunday before they went home. it was a great two days.also had members of the marine corps league and v.f.w. at the party.it was a great day.

Good to have get to-gathers with family and friends--pictures were great---
We had about 30 or more at Christmas and I was wore out--and hid at one point--10 itty-bitty kids running all over asking so many questions....

Drinking hot chocolate on a cold winter's day sure helps to make me happy. This deep freeze can go back to Alaska quick and I sure would be doing a happy dance..slow but happy..

happy runs over to fanny's driveway..with some of her beighbors. Shovel and snow blower in hands clears her driveway so she is able get back out of her drive and on the road, again..

@fanny...thank you dear lady.
My friend in England sent a link to a picture where he was honoring a young man at a fishing club with an introduction to that fishing group and handing him an award for the most fish caught in the younger age group, I think it is. How happy I am happy, I am, for both the young man and my good friend...

got a call from a marine buddy i was in school with yesterday,he lives in california.while we were talking he mentioned a guy he talks to that was my neighbor,he gave me his phone number in virginia and we talked for a long time,i found out while talking to him his wife and my cousins wife were best friends in school.so i called my cousin and gave him the virginia telephone number.he was so glad to get the phone number,it made me feel good.all five of us graduated in 1952,but after eight years in the service i lost track of all them but my cousin.it was sure good to talk to my old neighbor,we had a lot of old memories to talk about.
when i graduated in 52 they were drafting for the korean war,so most of the boys were eighter drafted or enlisted,so my classmates are scattered all over the states.
hope everybody has a happy day.
went to the foot doctor yesterday ,he gave me a cortizone shot in my right foot,which has been giving me a lot of pain.it feels good so far today.

Oh Happy Day! I am back on one more time. DH keeps telling me they have removed me for lack of use. So take care and keep busy on here. I was absent two days and then they locked me out and had a terrible time getting back on. Hope everyone is well and the weather has not been too unkind to you. June

Lots of happiness here. So nice to see and a the most, enjoyable posts..This is for sure.
A few minutes ago I brought in a neglected, neighbors cat out of the cold and he will stay in until this Canadian cold passes. This makes me happy to know he is safe and warm..

A three year old is in hospital with breathing problems. I sent word to him to be good boy and I loved him. Besides I was saving his sucker for him. He smiled, relaxed and rested. Gee I am happy I make someone feel good. We both feel better.

It makes me happy to see the three brothers (kitty cats) all curled up on the bed laying on the electric blanket. I know they they must enjoy the warmth..thinking of how much they love sun baths through the window..
