Either that, or it proves that it's you who don't know what you're doing, and you THINK it's everyone else that's doing it wrong. But I'd also note that most younger people are a little more likely to change their schedules without telling you, or to think they really like you when actually they just like someone who looks like you, so if that's what you mean by "unreliable," you may be sort of right. And people who make a living through performance art, pretty much have to be egotistical enough to think they know more than everyone else. Of course, that's a two-edged explanation, since it could be you or them who are the self-deluded egotist.

That is what contracts are for, had a guy try not to pay me once, put a lien on his buisness, and threatened to sell it off at the court house door for the money he refused to pay. When he found out I could he paid me, with interest and my legal fees. I always get half up front or I don't bother showing up. I could teach you how, if you wanted to learn. Why not do large wood frescoes and carved furnature, Instead of stumps that is where the real money is.
