They are very pretty. I have one, and the ornery thing loves the Walton's theme. Chirps and sings with it. I had two (they were brothers from separate hatchings, and their names were "Twitter" and "Tweet", but Twitter died. Gotta love my little "Tweet".

They sure do have lots of personality.
I know people that never owned birds do not understand they appeal but they have just as much personality as your dog or cat. They have mighty big personalities for such tiny bodies!! Mine do not know they are so little. They are very pushy and demanding!
The yellowface male in front is the lover. He makes cute little squeeks and squints when he does it. It is so darling

I wish I could get a couple for my parrot to watch when I'm not home. For his entertainment. But, because of him they would never come out of the cage. I love birds so much now because of him tho.

No, Cup. If they did, they would have bald seedy looking patches. Look how bright and full their feathers are. These are very healthy and beautiful parakeets.

How sad. Birds should be flying in flocks from trees to trees. They should not be living in cages just for their human owners to pull them out and kiss them and make silly noises so the birds can mimic them.
Birds were not created to be captives. They have feathers and were born to fly freely.
THESE BIRDS ARE PRISONERS, THEY ARE NOT PETS.
