Yes. It obviously is. Organic Chemistry says so. I don't have to say so.
So is alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, Paxil, oxytocin and any other 1,000's of "mother's little helpers" that American's pop with impunity.
The only issue for me is it's "illegality" according to most jurisdictions. With my current career that sort of thing is strictly prohibited.

That's a whole differnt subject now OP. I have a hard time understanding the FDA. Sure Marijuana maybe a controlled substance by them. But it's difficult to follow an organization, willing to allow Steriods, Growth Hormones, Floride and other Chemicals in our food and water, known to cause cancer and other medical issues, that are also controlled and banned to the citizens.

No, I consider it an herb. It was created by God for our benefit, and because it was given to us by God, a certain segment of the population is against it.
This God-sent herb helps with everything from chronic insomnia to cancer. I think the high you experience is simply the effect of the herb doing its job. If I get a high off the herb, I know its gonna help with my joint pain better than Tylenol ever did, and with my insomnia I can look forward to sleeping like a baby that night.

Nah that's the paranoid version. Certain drugs are restricted for public safety reasons....the public generally being dumb f**ks who have time and time again shown they can't be trusted to be responsible...

he had bought a piece of property that had a well
he didn't want to go on their public water
watned to make the well operational
mc damned a a meter be put inline and a $1200 deposit for the meter
it's not even their well or water...

Really? that's changed then since I lived there.
When I had my 6 acres in Conroe (Montgomery County) I had a well on it...didn't like it though...sulfur smell central when taking a shower. Had to leave my coffee sitting for 10 mins so the sulfur smell would dissipate.
The thing was 'sandy' too, especially after a storm and my filter out in the well house would constantly be blocking up because of it, I'd sometimes have to change the filter 3 or four times a DAY.

It's far from parinoid. I don't pick and choose to justify my bias, unlike the parent or people who choose to take this on. I understand some will always misuse and justify including that parent who chooses, based on the highest bidder. This nation will never have all 50 states agreeing on this. So there are much more jobs and income coming out of controlling it.
