I use a Garmin 610 when I run but I'm considering adding a activity tracker to encourage me to keep moving between workouts and just to provide data on heart rate, sleep patterns, steps, etc. I'm eye-ballin' the new Fitbit Charge HR. Any recommendations? TIA

What about Garmin vivo Smart?
It seems pretty full function.

That was the other tracker I was comparing to the Fitbit. I think the Fitbit has a HR monitor and the Garmin doesn't.

The Vivo Smart has Ant wireless transmission I believe.
I have an iPhone 6 and it will take text messages and alert me right on the band.
It got down to other features for me aside of the basic fitness.
At a point I kind of know when I see 10 miles a day go by I am doing enough for walking and jogging.
Do you have a body composition scale?
I use it more actually.
You can see your fat percentage go down and muscle total weight go up as you lean down.
I need both devices to monitor what I do and then evaluate the effectiveness of the strategy
Let me know what you get
I don't think fit bit has adopted iPhone 6 yet.
I will need to check that out at best buy.
