Actually slim women can have curves to, and a true persons worth is measured in who they are and what they can do, and that can fall into all catigories of people....or not...depending on the person.
But, I agree that they won't take whoever approaches them, many on dating sites only go after the trim and fit guys who look hot.

I'm a bigger woman but I've never been put down for it and no-one has ever made me feel unwanted due to my size... I'm confident about myself and a man either likes me or he doesn't and if he doesn't it won't hurt my feelings at all. you have to love yourself before anyone can love you.

I wish people would just dispense with all the euphemisms for being overweight. Enough with the "curvy," "cuddly," "BBW," "thick," etc., etc. If you are overweight, just say so. There is nothing wrong with specifying the degree to which you are overweight. There is a difference between "a few extra pounds" and "heavyset." Also, it should be the same for BOTH genders. It is what it is. Just leave it at that. Like I said before, people of all body types run the gamut.

Body types are individual. Fashion has tried to dictate what is desireable since the middle ages.
Extreem thin was in, now it is trim with a curvy bottom. More healty but not attainable for some. But we can't change much, maybe lose a few pounds, firm it up.
Men that exspect us to meet current fashion have control issues. Stay away from a controler. your body belongs to you.

True, though it is his fault if she BECOMES fat once she's within his sphere of influence. When my old lady packs on a lb or two she's restricted to either not eating for 3 or 4 days or ingesting copious amounts of laxatives.
They soon learn to self monitor.
