I still think the fall foliage is spectacular and well worth seeing.

I've never gotten to see Autumn colors in Vermont, but I hear it's beautiful. I've only seen Vermont in summers and in late November for a funeral. By the time it was late November, there were no more leaves on the trees at all.
But I would leave to see Vermont in the spectacular color show of early to mid Autumn!
What are good places in Vermont to get spectacular views of the fall foliage?

There's going to be some good pow wows in Vermont and the adjacent parts of upstate New York this summer.

The foliage is pretty nice in almost any of the back roads. To me, I think each area has beauty.

I've heard that Manchester, VT is very nice.
I'd like to visit Hildene, the Todd Lincoln home, in Manchester.
I definitely got to try to visit Vermont in late September or early October so that I can see the foliage!
I've only been to Vermont during the months of July, August, and November, so I've never seen the colorful beauty of Vermont in the fall.
Luckily, here in Litchfield County, we have some decent fall foliage views.
And what's interesting is that many of the English settlers who settled in Vermont from the 1760s through the 1790s were from Connecticut's Litchfield County towns.
Like Ethan Allen was from Litchfield and Salisbury, CT.
Matt Lyon, founder of Fair Haven, was also from Litchfield by way of Ireland.
And there's many towns in Vermont that are named after Connecticut towns: Salisbury, Wallingford, Waterbury, Cornwall, etc.
