Wasn't 1 and 2 by the same people then some others took over? I forget offhand, but seems like it. If so, they don't need to stop, they just need the original directors, producers, etc... behind them. Although of course it does get kind of old, but they could make some that aren't necessarily scary movie ones, but make fun of other types of movies.
I can't really remember much about 3, 4, or 5. But seems like I thought 3 was pretty good, 4 was ok, and 5 was bad.

Yeah I got it mixed up though, and thought it was the opposite, that the Wayans made the bad ones. So in reality they made the best ones. Main thing I wish is they would simply put out good Blu-ray releases of 1 and 2 because the reviews are so bad, especially for the first one, saying the picture is terrible, I hate to buy them. I had 2 on my dvr in hd and deleted it, thinking I'd buy the blu-ray, then read those reviews. Blah.
I don't know about other people, but to me it's VERY hard to find ANY great comedy made in recent years. So many of them aren't funny.

Not Another Teen Movie,Superhero Movie,Meet the Spartans,Disaster Movie,Date Movie;
those are movies done by other directors and producers that spoof other movies.
