If all the members wanted to be alphas, they would all break away and try to survive on their own...probably adopting cats for company, seeing a shrink weekly, and wolfing down prozac. This is similar to what feminism has done to dating. On the surface, equal pay, careers, and independence is a good thing but alot of women took it farther and turned into alphas themselves, with alot of them even starting to hate the alpha male. What women need to realize is that even a wolf pack has an alpha female but she even has to obey the alpha male. I don't hate other women. I tend to do my own thing. I don't see how your post makes any sense. Feminism made dating obsolete? I don't think so. I think if anything made dating obsolete it's selfishness. People want instant gratification and relationships are disposable. It's no wonder that some of us wind up being Lone Wolves.

On POF, I met many women but 3 in particular I sent home crying on the first coffee meet. These ladies appeared very reserved and sweet in their profiles and phone conversations but in real life, it only took 5 minutes face to face to see the subtle controlling behaviors. All 3 had the same complaints about dating too..."I only attract wusses". When I explained to them why real men were avoiding them....they broke down in tears. No one had ever explained it to them before like I did. One of them actually said she broke up with her last man because she caught him chatting with a girl. 2 minutes later, she admitted that she has over 100 male friends on her yahoo messenger. That raised a red flag you could see from space.
