If I am sick, I don't expect someone I've had just 3 dates with to do anything to help in making me to feel better. It is nice if they wanted to, but I wouldn't at all expect it. To me that's something someone would do if we were in a relationship.

Three dates is way too soon to have such expectations.
Look at it this way. If someone claims to be in love with you enough after three dates to come and tend you in your sick bed, would you really trust them? Or would your first thought be that they were nuts, or so caught up in themselves that they were just acting by rote?
I have a high opinion of myself, but if a woman thought she wanted to be my mate to THAT degree after three dates, I'd be, shall we say, skeptical as to her judgmental abilities.
Now, if we've reached the stage already where we've agreed that we are dating seriously, even exclusively, then yes, I would certainly hope that she would at least want to check up on me by phone or other means. Certainly if we've had sex, and we expect to see each other again.

my sister has twins... old enough be on their on

(this is with young school kids of my own to tend to and 60 miles away)

so i tell them ok, but if that changes, jes call me
anyway, he was in hospital a really long time, several operations, and even still today, facing another operation, but after he got out and was in their home
they b*tched, ya didn't even come cut the yard
other crap was said then and since...
my own sister,
we don't talk these days
3 dates.... nearly pfffpt without a clear understanding

Yes, I believe they should. If we get to 3 dates and you do not feel well, I would offer you anything I could. A lady I was seeing was sick. She did not want company. I drove to the drugstore, picked up some cold medication(Vicks, Cold tablets, Buckley's) dropped it off at her door and texted her that the medication was at her doorstep and I drove away.
