Yes, OP ... Raw or steaming vegetables preserves the most nutrients in the vegetables which makes them healthier, and taste pretty darn good, too.

You do still lose some nutritional value by steaming. Raw is always best.

Raw is always best. Concur. But steamed loses little nutritional value and it does release all the wonderful flavors of the vegetables.

I mince my veggies raw and add them just like that to my hot dishes. The other food elements will warm them up.

Do similar with my venison....Stir fry the meat then throw in the fine cut veggies just enough to warm them, but the fresh shrimp cook so fast I do both at just about the same time
Almost all of my meats are fresh caught hormone free

I like to grill mine. Sear the nutrition's! If I don't grill I steam.. and that is yum too. Best advice is how ever you like your veggies..it is great way to munch and not add calories... (with the exception of coating them in butter, fat, grease).. the more the merrier!

Love grilled veggies. Try grilled fruits like pineapple or peaches. I dont buy microwave steamed veggies but do steam in the microwave because lest loss of taste and vitamins.
