As y'all know, I was born in Armenia, came here to the states in 1998 and I've become a hardcore American patriot. I love our country and I love everything it has given me, especially considering the poverty we came from.


I've recently thought about going back home to Armenia to find a wife because I find dating in America to be absolutely impossible. My thoughts have become more and more serious as my frustrations with my attempts at dating continues to mount and mount and mount. The most frustrating aspect of dating that just f**king kills me is seeing how great I'm in everything else yet I can't even perform at a mediocre level in terms of dating. This eats at me relentlessly more than anything you guys can possibly imagine. The fact that I keep reaching higher and higher heights in everything else yet stay at the exact same level in dating eats at me relentlessly. Me trying to get a number/date is like a retarded chimpanzee trying to learn rocket science. I have no problem at all making friends/talking to women on a platonic level, but they're basically an alien subspecies when it comes to dating. I don't know how to solve this problem...I've tried and tried and tried every single thing I can think off to no avail.


What do you guys think about this plan? There's some positives but lots and lots of huge negatives as well. The notion that I would be forced to go overseas to find a wife because I can't find anybody who likes me among the 150 million women in the US is extremely demoralizing. This just kills me mentally. The other problems is that I look very white/European for an Armenian guy so I only really like women who are like that... a lot of Armenians tend to look very ethnic so I don't find most Armenian women to be attractive for my taste. Also, the process of bringing somebody here from overseas can be very expensive and very difficult for obvious reasons. I wouldn't know if the person really likes me or just wants to be an American citizen to live the good life and then ditch me once we get married


The big positive though would just be an end (finally) to the torture I've felt for the last 10-12 years. I wouldn't mind getting married right now if I could just end the torture.
