The Sacrifices Veterans have made in all wars and the Sacrifices all continue to suffer today.
My husband Ray served proudly in the U.S.Navy ...during peace time , 4 years....Memphis..training base, Alaska, laying pipe lines, California Port Wynemi , Midway Island, and Japan......

My Youngest Uncle James was in the army serving in Panama..
He caught Malaria, and died an agonizing death about 10 years later.
My Brother Joseph served in Army during the last Of the Korean War.
My Grandson just returned Home from serving in U.S. Army.

My Great/G.Father served in Revolutionary War
giving him a grant for part of land he owned
and his wife got her share of land grant also.

my dads little brother (bill) was awarded the navy cross in world war ll, he was a frogman, which is like a navy seal now.

News tonight said --Soldiers were trained to go to War--but-- not to come back home .. The suicide rate is alarming of veterans who return home with stress dis-orders.

and VA refused him any help.for it.

for asbestos exposure, he should of filed workers comp. and there was a big class action law suit going on nationally to get benefits for asbeston workers, with asbestosis, don't know if it is still on or not, check into it,, could get some money.

Louie Hes been gone 3years and at the time of death I didn't really protest it at the time Iwas so stunned by the sudden death....And I doubt theres much that can be done about it now...If I had pressed the VA to give him a cat scan at the time instead of X-rays--he may have lived longer--BUT-- as my kids said we witnessed it so long we didn't know all the facts about what shoulda , woulda coulda been done for him..

NOPe it is not too late, people are filing in that class action law suit, on relatives that died 20 yrs ago. contact a lawyer, prob wont cost you anything. was he working in a power plant in the navy or in public works ? if it was in the navy, yeah, the va might be responsible.

....I would file one and see what happens. I worked around asbestos for 25 years and thank GOD I have no problems that it caused as far as I know. If I had lung or breathing problems, I would be filing a law suit.

I pulled it up on line and he did have a lung problem but they called it something else....but the article I read said a lawyer would take care of it all and not get paid unless you did...I will see what happens when I think I see a legit lawyer. ""THANKS TO ALL WHO WERE CONCERNED"--let you know what happens..
