Have you ever given your phone number hoping to hear from the person you have been messaging on that profile... and then you receive a text from central California instead of your area code, where the person claims to be from. When u call the number, you get a sound like a fax machine. Damn, i didnt even get the chance to say person to person, you sre fake.

No never, but then very very seldom give out my # or call any that give me theirs! Message a while and you will know the fakes and crazies, they always give themselves away or disappear after ten or so messages! Anyone really worth meeting will hang in there as they want to know you are OK also before talking. Better to loose a few good ones because they are to anxious than to get burned by one of the fakes.

Definitely ^
Sorry you had the experience.
My alarm bell goes off anytime someone immediately wants to give out their phone number or switch to outside email. There is absolutely no reason why someone cannot chat here for a while. And I have got to where if they don't have a picture, automatic deleted.
