Teddy Roosevelt set the tone by demanding that Americans have a right to travel to places that welcome us. Without our support, the world would soon become a place with nothing but Muslim Nations. (And other really bad guys.) Our people would not be safe anywhere, except in the States. (And we now have enough Muslims living here so that when the day they came after us, the Muslims would find ways to get over, under or around the fence.) If you want to have safe oceans around us, we need a Navy strong enough to protect them. If you want safe air space over us, we need an Air Force. I don't see how you do this without a military strong enough to protect the worlds oceans and the sky's above us. We should have pulled out of Europe long ago when the folks there still understood what freedom was worth. I am afraid that if we do not protect the world now, Russia, China, and the Muslims, will take it all. (And leave us as a small isolated island of freedom, surrounded by very strong bastards who all want to kill us.) What we could do, is what Russia, China, and the Muslims are now doing. We could take what we want or need. And use it for our own purposes. We could take the North and South Poles for the energy beneath them. We could take Mexico and send her people south. We could take Canada and then have the entire North American Continent. (Which would make it far easier to protect ourselves.) The trouble with this idea is that our people would not vote for it.
