Your right, breast cancer itself is not a disability,but the side effects and other complications of the treatment can be.
I have some other health issues, maybe sometimes it's more of a mental disability. I'm not in a relationship at this time, would like to be. But then I wonder if it's fair to get into a new relationship with so many health issues

Its funny how people react to things. To a lot of people, I am old just because of my actual age. They cant wrap their arms around what they see and hear, they just focus on old. Ok..... their loss, and that is how you need to think about it.
You need to be honest and open once you start talking to someone, and you are simply by being here and starting this thread. And you need a sense of humor and the understanding that a lot of guys will be afraid of considering you as a relationship partner. But you should never be afraid.
Someone who will focus on one thing about you is the wrong person for you. But at the same time, and this is kind of blunt, so forgive me, you cant be a part of the pity party. I have had the opportunity to face many things in life, and disease in friends and family has taught me that some of the nicest people who are really living life are sharing life with issues and not letting anything get in the way of their happiness.
To cheer.... when you look at some of the people getting chemo and see that the nurses are essentially wearing spacesuits to distance themselves from the toxicity of the drugs, you only begin to understand how all this stuff affects a body and can affect a soul that is unprepared. And those effects dont go away sometimes for years.
Be honest, discuss any limitations you may have, and always be nice to people. At some point you will trip over someone.

@LegalEye
You need not lecture me, sir, on maturity, chemotherapy, radiation or how many men treat women who have fought a valiant battle against a mortally fatal enemy.
I, sir, am a double cancer survivor. I fought my battles at ages 25 and 27. Had I permitted myself to buckle under to the malicious, self serving taunts, and disgusting ridicule of many ignorant men I would not be the strong woman I am today.
I will not kowtow to someone who judges me by my words on a computer screen but knows absolutely nothing about me personally. Not knowing me personally, one fails to grasp the "me" that I am in the real world and what outside influences help mold and shape my psyche.
I was advising the IP to "toughen up", be the strong women which she is, and don't wallow in self pity because some men are uneducated fools.
Thank you for the space, OP.

Just be honest snd upfront with what you have to offer, with that you can weed out the men who might not like it and find the ones who see you as a person.

Her boyfriend is ten years younger than her
