I agree. If it doesn't feel right, don't ignore it. Trust me I wish I'd listened to mine before I got married a little over a year ago. I wouldn't be getting ready to file for divorce if I had.

the only way i have found is to escalate your contact. email,chat,phone then if all is still cool,meet. dont rush into anything.progress at whatever pace is comfy for you.
