Scorpios, in general, are very private creatures. Unevolved Scorpios, represented by the soul totem symbol of a Scorpion, are very manipulative and self-destructive. They keep secrets to cover their transgressions, and prying into their life will tend to make them very hostile.

This sounds like your Scorpio male. Scorpios can be very loving, and loyal to a fault, BUT if they view you as weak or a pushover, it is not above them to use and abuse you, before they lose you.

For those less manipulative and nasty Scorpios, the privacy is a form of self-protection. Scorpio males are EXTREMELY sensitive creatures, BUT they will NEVER show it to others. This doesn't mean the force of the earth's magnetic pull doesn't reach those planets. It is just less total force than the force applied by the Sun, and vice versa.
