I want to thank everyone who took the time to reply to my question. Lot of different opinions, that is good. I have lived in a farming community all my life where you never locked a door, people dropped in anytime, if it was around meal time they were invited to eat with you. It is still basically that way now, although some people do lock their doors now, lot of new people have moved into the area. I love this way of life & wouldn't trade it for anything. Looks like for most of you email is the icebreaker, so if anyone wants to email me please do so & when I get near a computer, I will email you back. In the meantime I am canning fruit, gardening. getting ready to plant wheat & grass. Please remember to vote in the upcoming election, I think we do make a difference. Thanks again, suffolk

Because it's safer to keep your phone number to yourself until you have a good feeling about the person at the other end of the communication. Have you read some of the posts on this site? Do you want those people drunk-dialing you at 4:00 AM?
Hey forumfun can I have your number, so I can call you at 4:00 am
