I found the experience a little scary at first...but it was very secure, very fun, & very comfortable by the end...I'm so very glad I did it. I looked at it as just a way to meet other singles, not expecting to actually meet anyone special. You just have to look at it like your coffee get-to-gethers, just something to do on a particular evening... I recommend it, Highly!!! But be comfortable with the event you choose. I can link you to the site for the group I found if your interested...

I checked, and we do apparently have it, at least there's a website. Being the busy, stressed out metropolis Calgary is, we also have 3 minute speed dating. Figures.

I'm cheap too......well, not cheap but realatively inexpensive. I LOVE Value Village, and thrift stores (you never know what you will find).
I moved here to be closer to my brother and niece. We were talking about making some excursions (He's single too, gals. But just not ready to look for a relationship, long story. He's soon to be 47.) Hey, I'm the one who's looking, not him One of the day trips we discussed was the Calgary Zoo. So when we do (probably next summer) we will make a group of it, wat you say?????

Anytime. I can usually make time, as can 2bluiz, even weekdays, which might be less busy - just a couple days notice though (in case we have a lot of dates lined up.......like that'll happen.....LOL) Actually, she gets her fair share -and I think she is getting my share too, as I'm not getting any!
