yes i am one of the people who posts quotes so that people know what i am responding to. thats the reason why most sites have "quotes" because its a needed feature. the problem isn't quotes but that everytime people quote they don't need to post the whole post, just the parts u are responding too.

if ur responding to someone eight posts ahead of u and u don't quote, it doesnt make as much sense.

I know it's a free site and all , but damn this is getting to be annoying.

I reckon "I told you so" isn't the best thing to say at a moment like this. But what can I say that would be more appropriate?

How about this? You ain't seen nothin yet.

Knock off the Bullshit terrorism of other members; stop posting private information on guest books and in private chat; stop creating multiple profiles to brain screw others or circumvent the rules; ignore and block idiot who post stolen nude pictures of other members and their children; stop encouraging idiots who post kiddie porn and make every attempt to follow the "few" actual rules there are.

I have watched the deterioration of this site occur and progress over the last few months. It seems like no matter what is done to improve the site and make it more fun for the members, there are a few jerks who use the improvements to further destroy the integrity of the site for the majority.

Now you all are thinking "yeah kenb, that a**hole". Well step back and look at what is happening honestly. A handful of members have knocked the bottom out of the site with childish terrorism. So before you all post that comment to bash me or discredit what I am saying consider these points:
Who broke the rules to email personal information and lies?
Who posted stolen nude pictures of another member in private chat, using somebody elses account?
Who posted "Jail Bait" child porn in last to post #8?
How many of you know when just_joel logs on with a fake account to cause trouble and don't stop him or report him?
Who is posting nude pictures on the guest books of other members?
Who is posting private contact information on the guest books of other members?
Who continuously posts idiotic protest and bashing threads to the point they are restricted in the number of threads they are allowed to create?

You all say I am an a**hole? I am guilty of 2 things and I don't deny it: If I can prove a profile is fake or a scammer, I expose and report it, to improve the site for the majority.
I am also guilty of speaking the truth to your faces, even when you don't really want to see it.

If you want DH back? Months ago I wrote some ideas and suggestions to send to Dustin. I have always found him to be reasonable and logical, I think he will listen if convinced that the members will do their part as well.

Otherwise? Admin has to preserve the integrity of the site. More restrictions will be imposed. Guest books, music, videos and the posting of pictures will likely be eliminated.
If you can't see it? You're either blind or an idiot...

I won't post in this thread again so your names and insults will be wasted. If you want to preserve whats left of DH, email me.

I can only assume that Dustin has his reasons for making changes. Perhaps storage or bandwidth is getting expensive. Perhaps there are complaints about copyright violations on some of the videos. I honestly don't know.

One thing that would be nice is a spot where he could outline the changes and a sentence or two explaining why. Fore me, understanding changes would ease some of the frustrations.

I changed it to 14 days (to be able to post images/videos). Let's see how that works out.

'Chat detected' only happens on a few of the forums so I know that's not really an issue, come on now.

Quotes, 5 allowed a day (at the moment). Too many people were basically quoting every single time they posted. No one needs to read the original post 10 times in the same thread, kind of a waste of space.

Unfortunately some rather pathetic people make it their personal mission to cause trouble by creating fake profiles and posting crap in the forums. Sad that someone would actually spend their time doing that but that's just the way it is. That's why there are limits on new members.

Granted users should only quote to what they are responding to and not include pictures and movies and the other fluff. But the sysop can strip that stuff out of the quotes when the quoter submits the message. That will take care of the space problem. Limiting how many times you quote literally breaks it. You may as well just disable it Or a user can bypass the limit and just copy and paste and build their own quote structure, include all the fluff of the quoted message and you'll have the same problem.
