You'de be amazed at what you see from a BIG RIG!!! I always agreed with Red, " If the girls don't find you handsome.....they should at least find you handy"....LMAO!!!!

I have dated a person who is handicapable...not handicapped. I bet you have many good qualities that a person may be looking for. We all do. It is just finding the right person who will genuinely care for us no matter what shape our minds and bodies are in.
I have not see an ugly person on this tread yet. So no one here is hard on the eyes.

Heck why not? I have what is considered a handicap. But I can do most things other men can do and somethings they can't. Anybody who would have a problem with a handicapped women should check themselves! Besides a lot of so called healthy people's handicap isn't visable. People with physical handicaps I found to be better balanced. Just an opinion.

I would love to date a hanicaped woman. Us handicapeds seem to be the more mature people in this world and I think that we need to stick together and show the world that we are not just a bunch of blanks, but yeah for sure disability or not I am all open arms here.

I am on permanent disability. Prior to my becoming disabled, I never had any issues with dating either abled or disabled women. Since my disability set in (October, 2007), I have dated several "abled" women and I have discovered, the hard way, just how many "shallow" people there are in the world. On each occasion when dating an "abled" woman, at some point on the first date, I get what I call "the look". That's when the date "sees" my disability, then works "we can only be friends" into the conversation. I have heard that enough times that I made the decision to date only women that are also disabled. So YES, I date disabled women and ONLY disabled women! Unlike "abled" women disabled women aren't shallow at all!

I'm new to this forum and yes I'm considered disabled. Diabetic (type1) for 46 years, a left below knee amputation in 10/06, a triple bypass in 2003, blah , blah, blah. I like to think of myself as "enabled differently" instead of disabled. I can honestly say that since my amputation I'm more active than I was before.
And yes, I would date a disabled/handicapped woman. My question is would a woman date me that isn't disabled?

I was married to a lady who used a walker and a wheelchair for less then 3 years, she died of cancer. I would date a woman who is disabled again as I am disabled, I wear 2 hearing aids and suffer with depression.

Yes I would and have in the past, before I was hurt myself.
Now to all the arguements out there about whose disabled more.... The biggest handicap in my opinion is stupidity... Ignorance is curable but stupidity is fatal and anyone who cannot accept a disability of themsleves or others falls under the stupidity category. That in MY opinon is the biggest handicap of all... Accept yourself and others will follow, accept your neighbors and make the neighborhood a family... The ones who can't can either move or just suffer while all us who can party and have a good time.
