My son was 9lbs 5oz and I was in labour for 36 hours. 24 of them hard. It's not a matter of 'forgetting' the pain... it's a matter of the pain being worth it.

Do you have children kitise? Maybe when you do, you will be able to answer why it's not always that easy to close that chapter, as you say...

Having children is painful during childbirth... and for years to come... but it's a true blessing for most people...

And I think it's like anything else. Until you've experienced it yourself, it's hard to understand it.

Its painful however that pain doesnt last too long and its worth it all

Once the baby is here..the pain is all done and forgotten for many

until the next round

The joy out weights the pain and women can endure MUCH Pain

unlike a man

Once the baby is born your heart is filled with love for the child..once you leave the hospital having another one may be the farthest thing from a mothers mind..she wants to spend all her time on the little life she has now....then after awhile some choose to have more it can be the sound of little feet on the floor it can be the laughter and joy it brings a mother and father..I work at the hospital front desk..I see so many mothers coming in to give birth to thier second or third child..all I see is happiness on thier faces..there is always going to be pain in life...I think the reason they have more kids is because it all starts with the love of the first one..for myself I want no more than three or four kids when the time comes...also some people have a high pain tolerance..my brother in laws mother had six kids..the birth is always painful..some handle it better than others...
