i saw one video of a woman giving birth and yea the labor was long, and she really screamed and cried, why would someone repeat this. why cant you just get one kid and close that chapter
ahh maybe she went all naturally
They have Great Drugs that stop all the pain and yes women chose the drugs
Ya gotta get to a certain stage first ..think its 3 or could be 4
My first child piece of cake
My secound..OMG PAINFUL didnt know what labor was all about until him
My 3rd and 4th..had drugs once I got to 4 ...also its not good to get too much of that drug cause they told me you gotta feel it a little in order to know when to push

For some yes..it can be a good reason..some men handle the whole birth thing better than others..and sometimes they both want another child..but I think most decide when they are both truly ready for it..the family I work for will be going in tomorrow to have a C section..they already have a 2 year old..for the past two years they had been trying to have another one..and finally after many doctors and shots it worked...she knows the pain that will come..but its the baby that she's thinking of more...

There are lots of reasons that people don't have more than one child - or any children. It could very well be that someone had such a horrific delivery that they said enough.
I had complications with my second and basically the medical decision was made for me by my doctors that that was it. To be honest, the idea of giving birth, I found, was terribly painful and horrifically scary... it was terrifying. But at that point, what are your options? It's coming out, no matter... and you pray that all will be well. And if you are lucky enough to be blessed with children, then you are luckier than you could ever possibly imagine.

I only had one, but it had nothing to do with the pain. People have kids, and more kids, for many reasons, but I doubt any of them think about the pain of giving birth when considering them.

why would you search for love knowing that if things do not end up the way you want them to it will be painful but yet you search again

I can't believe you asked this question. I don't know if you're serious or just like stirring the pot.

Because some people want more kids. And it is very nice for children to have brothers and sisters.

Kitise, yes it is painful, and less than pleasant, but so worth it.
I know with both of mine, I just knew the pain was temporary, get through each contraction one at a time. We also know what our options are as far as dulling the pain with different drug options before we go in. My first child was a difficult C section due to his size and the size of his head, but a week or 2 of discomfort was nothing compared to the joy he has brought me over the years and the love I have found within myself as well as received from him. My second child two years later was a vaginal birth, and was no picnic, but sooooo much easier than the C section. She, too has taught me what my capacity for love is and given me great love in return. I can't have any more for medical reasons, but I would do it all over in a hearbeat for sure. That little bit of pain that women have endured for centuries is nothing compared to what you are rewarded with in the end. Besides, I had a kidney stone years after that was way worse pain than I ever had with my kids, and I didn't even get anything out of that. I literally passed out from the pain of that. So for Childbirth, get drugs, sleep through as much of the early labor as you can, deal with the pushing one contraction at a time, and have a lifetime of joy and love for your trouble.

Do you have children kitise? Maybe when you do, you will be able to answer why it's not always that easy to close that chapter, as you say...
Having children is painful during childbirth... and for years to come... but it's a true blessing for most people...
And I think it's like anything else. Until you've experienced it yourself, it's hard to understand it.
Good answer to that question.
When my daughter was born, I stood there speechless and totally amazed, until the nurse asked me if I wanted them to put her back.
Of course I never felt the pain, my wife felt.
