I'm just getting through a broken hart 9yrs and he cheated on me so #2 and not taking him back and moving on is the best revenge. At this point i'm ready to get right back into the dating scene, it's been a yr of waiting period now im ready

I'm with Klassy on this whole thing - betrayl like that does something to you. It's hard to jump right back into it and trust someone else with your heart again. To me, that's not fair to someone that you are trying to create a new relationship with. Take time, sort it out and then slowly get back into the swing of things! jmo

also took me a long time to get back in the swing...but never let go of me. For the first 2 years after he kept popping in where i worked to see how i was. mostly ignored him and he finally stayed away.

I can't change the way someone else behaves, but I do have control of my own behavior. Things seem to have a way of coming back around. I know that I am a good person, who slips every now and then, but I always have my morals and my values. If you let those go you are no better than the person that betrayed you. Don't ever let someone change the good person that you are because of the bad one that they are.jmo
