Nothing but wilderness all around me. Good people in my village. All like family. Love fish camp in the summer on the Yukon. This time of year the moose winter near me & on my land.It's about 145 miles NW of Fairbanks,but runs about 20degrees warmer than there in the winter. Love the light show in the winter too.Spring comes quick too.T-shirt weather by April & the snow is gone quick. Winter is time for easy travelin to go visit friends & run trap lines & haul in anything from out in the woods.I can catch up on mail to folks outside too. Now the last of my kids are grown & outta the house it's time to find a good woman to share it all with. I picked up an under water wood stove,so next winter I'll be watchin the lights sittin in my hottub,lol.

I love kashwitna lake when the sun is setting and all of willow looks like its pink and purple. I love that I can go out of my house at 3 in the morning and shoot my gun as much as i like an no one is gonna call the cops. I love how everyone I meet in Willow is happy and willing to help you out, even if they just met you. I love how in the summer, I know all the good trails to ride on and i get muddy and have a blast on my three wheeler. I love how the air smells,,,so clean with no pollution. I love how most white people up here are just as white as I am,,,lmao,,,, I love that I have to stay in shape in order to keep my house heated,, I love how when its raining or snowing and I go sit on a log in my front yard, all the lil creatures come out and just sitt like were all in the same mind frame about how precious life is, I AINT GONNA LIE,,,,,,I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT ALASKA, AND THIS LIST COULD GO ON AND ON AND ON FOREVER
