 Ky just feels very strongly about his stance here and I applaud that. I don't think I have seen this side of him on here before. But Ky.. you have stated your thoughts very strongly and nicely. Just know that no everyone thinks the same way is all. For some.. visual is very powerful

 I agree with Tru...when looking for a life partner...you have to have some idea of what the person looks like...not that I think I'm all that either. I have made a good friendship on here with someone with no picture. He sent me one privately though...and we are still just friends.

I like to read peoples profiles...call me what you will, but I wish to be in contact with someone on the same mental & intellectual level with me. If you don't think that matters, well I'm here to say it does...the same as it does with spiritual beliefs, moral values, outlook on life, and having a similar sense of humor. It is not good for me to be around someone who is "dry", quiet, and reserved. I am outgoing, silly, talkative, upbeat, etc...
Opposites may attract, but won't last in the long run. You have to be on the same plane going in the same direction. So it is with "looks." You must be at least a little attracted to the person. JMO NBS

 and i love seing the pics im not saying that im glad we can see each other but i value the freindships ive made on here more ive met some great ppl who dint have pics and for some reason they dont stay on here to long because of ppl who are to good to talk to them because they dont have pics come on ppl watch how you aproach some ppl there are alot of depressed ppl on here put your self in some ones shoes b4 you cast them out if you dont want to email with them cool if you dont want to im with them cool but in fourms that is bs and if they email you and you dont want to talk to them tell them to come to the fourms wtf is wrong with ppl now days like i said in one of my other fourms just no love left in the damn world

i talk to ppl without pics. I don't have a problem with it. But as Tru stated, if it is someone wanting more than friends or if i want more than friends, then I would want a recent pic of that person. I would want a face to put with the words. It just adds more life to the words to be able to visualize facial expressions.
