breezy13 Crestwood, KY age: 27	I don't know if its necessarily hang ups. I mean yes woman have proven to more emotionally connected quicker in relationships but I also believe that this is based on the stage someone is at in their life. I for example, am looking to be married for the first time so meaningless sex is not something I want right now. If I do have sex there will be some kind of emotion or feeling involved. Now I am not saying that I have never had meaningless sex before but it was at a different stage in my life and you never know, someday I may get back to that point. rocket000 Murrayville, GA age: 50	Another post that paints broad brush strokes about an entire group of people. There are plenty of women who think like men when it comes to sex. Thats their perogative. Personally, I was raised to do what makes me happy. As long as I have a good working moral compass I could care less about who is sleeping with who. I'm mentally, physically and emotionally healthy. I work in a the financial world which is a male dominated field. I also have my own farm and do more labor than most men. However, I'm not interested in casual sex, friends with benefits or sex with anyone other than a person that I have an emotional connection too. Guess what? I know plenty of men who want an emotional connection before they are interested in sex. Perhaps like many of a certain age, they have enough life under their belt not to want to waste their time and energy. I'm tired of the constant belittling of people with a different viewpoint. It seems that there are several male dh'ers who delight in bashing women who: like sex, use or withhold sex, barter sex, don't like sex, have a headache or some malady that prevents them from wanting sex. Yet in the next breath they are calling them sluts, wh*res, etc. Frankly, modern medicine has both medication and therapy available to treat these split personalities.
