Hello...It's Jack, sometimes a blue water sailor, (yes, I spelled it wrong when joining) former ski patrolman & sometimes skier. called 'Mutiny' at times, and other less socially acceptable names. At the moment in Florida after a 2nd early retirement and returning to NH reasonably soon to buy a commercial property and a new home in the mountains.
Recently re-evaluated my life. Dicovered my golf handicap was growing...fish were ignoring my lures and bait...large Bull Sharks seemed attracted to my fishing boat...was to damn cold to sail this 'winter' in the sub tropics, the news was getting more depressing...decorating a palm tree at Christmas had lost its humor...I was bored!...about the same time, while playing golf, I ran into a 12 to 13 foot Burmese Python, checked my passport and no entry stamp for Burma or what ever its' name is now. Seems there are 25,000 of them down here and breeding like...like...well, like snakes... which is apparently 2 times the number than in their home country. Club regulations do not permit 12 guage shotguns in your bag!!!!!!!!!!!
Electric shock treatments or a frontal lobotomy seemed a bit over the top. So, I made the only semi rational decision available...buy a small Inn. Return to my home state. At least while freezing in the winter there will be snow on the ground and not palm fronds or Burmeese Pythons...I hate snakes especially ones that can eat me.
