Hi from Victoria. I have been cruising a few sites looking for a lady to share my life but it seems that we are all kinda picky. I read the profiles and find that if you don't kayak - hike - climb - sail - camp - go to the gym that you are not acceptable. It also seems to be that you have to be in better than good health and eat a totally balanced nutritious diet. We are in our 50's or close to it or older and have lived life. The things we have done are enough to boggle younger peoples minds for the most part so we are getting used bodies and, likely, people who have lived through many changes (I remember not having a TV and getting a black and white one as our first - how many young people know TV used to be B&W?). The lady I am looking for realizes all this and is prepared to look for what really counts - someone who cares for her and isn't asking for perfection.
Well that is my rant. I am David from Victoria and proud to be a battered 55yr old.

This is interesting. It appears that there are 4 or 5 pages of people in the room but no one is connecting with anyone. Wow, that isn't so great. Maybe that is why B.C. is so big and spread out with so many great people all looking for someone. We are all pretty lonely, but many just do not want to admit this. This is no crime, being alone or lonely. We have not been put on this earth to live our lives in isolation, have we?
