For six months I had a border. She said - after she moved in - that she had some "emotional" problems. Personally, I think she was just a spoiled brat and if the lime light was not on her, then she acted up. For six months she cleaned nothing. That included the toilet.
I don't know what she did in that toilet but even the friend who came over to clean out her bathroom could not get it clean. Someone suggested using vinegar and letting it soak then cleaning it out. Well, it worked! With just a little elbow grease it came off and now my toilet looks new again!
What else do you use vinegar for? other than on your french fries....

What about cleaning mineral deposits from the coffee maker & electric kettle? Sure cheaper than buying the commercial cleaners & seems to work better, too.

vinegar and water, instead of window cleaner, on windows, mirrors, and your car windshield on which you should never use regular window cleaner because when the sun glares it heightens the glare - vinegar does not.
Use vinegar in the rinse water when you first wash something new and brightly colored, and it protects it from color fading.
As a salad dressing, with oil and a bit of soya sauce. (sorry, couldn't resist, )
