I have that same poem except it was "Springtime in Alberta". Good for a laugh wherever you are.
As for the flowers in BC ..... I don't feel too envious. All I have to do is look at the plant onto of my TV. Would you believe my Christmas cactus is blooming again? I only had about half doz blooms before Christmas but there's 14 in various stages of development on this small plant. MERRY CHRISTMAS, all!

Tuesday = -37, -48 with wind chill
