A lot of times I eat wole wheat toast with honey and crunchy peanut butter. Seems to hang with me longer than a bowl of cereal. If I eat cereal I put a handfull of walnuts in it or it seems to last about an hour and I'm hungry. Walnuts are good for ya too, and I eat Honey nut Cheerios.
My special breakfast I prepare is french toast and bacon..... I have a secret recipe for the French Toast.... and I like the thick cut black peppered bacon. When we go camping I cook that and everyone is fat and happy afterwards.

In the winter time I enjoy a small bowl of oatmeal with lots of cinnamon
All other times I'm a toast and coffee person with honey on my toast.
I used to work where they processed country hams, I do enjoy this for a change. They had the best black peppered bacon which was good with a nice omelet with peppers.
I also like french toast or a German baked dish that is like french toast that is filled with fruit with my favorite being peaches.

Yep oatmeal is good, especially with walnuts in it and black peppered bacon...
Weather has finally cooled enough here for some camping....
Never had the dish you refer to Butterfly but does sound good.
Cottage ya want cream and sugar with that or just HOT?

Honey bunches of oats for cold ceral. And Oatmeal with peaches and cream in the winter.

I used to just drink coffee but...now it's just oatmeal and yogurt! High Blood Pressure, you know! Ain't it grand getting older??

Not my favorite but I eat it most everyday is the Sweet & Salty Granola Bars - Almond and maybe a banana or apple and coffee.
I love a full breakfast when I indulge, thick cut black pepper bacon, eggs w/cheese if scrambled but I usually have them over medium, wheat toast with blueberry jam. I also like to make french toast and I too have a good recipe for it.

I have three.
When I go out : 2 eggs overeasy, Hashbrowns burnt, Ham and white toast
Home : Raisin bran with Life mixed in. or Oatmeal and Raisins.
